Working hours: Mon-Fri 8 a.m. - 4 p.m., after 4 p.m. and on weekends the restaurant belonging to eco-centre of Slani Dol is open. This centre is the first educational-informative centre in the protected areas of the Republic of Croatia.
At the same time it is the head office of this Public institution with permanent exhibition on environmental and cultural features of Žumberak and the Samoborsko gorje. On the premises is a hall suitable for giving lectures, workshops and round tables. The educational program "A young supervisor" is held for organized groups of kindergarten and school-age children here as well. One part of premises is used as a restaurant on weekends. This is the point where hiking trail Put kraljice bukve (Path of the Queen of Beech) starts or ends (depending on direction where you start) and where cycling track Staza šišmiša (Bats' Trail) passes through.

Eco-centre Budinjak is informative and educational centre for visitors. The establishment is adjusted for day-trip visitors and on the premises there is an exhibition
on archaeological heritage of the protected area as well as the area adopted for several day long stay of smaller groups of researchers, educational programs attendants and other visitors. It is also the starting point for touring Archaeological Park and educational Staze kneževa (Trail of Princes). Here is the program "A young supervisor". held as well. Cycling track Vilinska staza (Fairy Trail) and educational trail Žumberački arheološki put (Žumberak Archaeological Path) both pass through Budinjak.

Monitoring point in Sošice is the official head office of the Public institution Žumberak-Samoborsko gorje Nature Park. Here you can get all information, our brochures as well as useful advice which may make your stay in the Nature Park more interesting and useful.
This is the point where cycling track Staza Svete Gere (St. Gera's Trail), educational trail Žumberački arheološki put (Žumberak Archaeological Path) and hiking trail Put kraljice bukve (Path of the Queen of Beech) start/end.

MONITORING POINT
GRDANJCI

This monitoring point is situated in the vicinity of the entrance to the protected area. It is the head office of monitoring service in the Public institution which is in charge for monitoring the situation in the Nature Park.
Here you can get information on the whole area and the Public institution as well as brochures and useful advice. Vilinska staza (Fairy Trail) and Staza slapova (Waterfalls' Trail), start here, and Staza šišmiša (Bats' Trail) (3b) passes through it.
